I love the company of chutneys with my main dishes and always churning up some every alternate day to soothe my cravings. Coriander chutney happens to be my favorite but when it comes to preparing it, I am a bit conservative; until I eat this chutney at my Gujarati aunt’s place. The moment it touched my tongue, the flavors blew my mind! It has the aromatic flavors of cilantro, but there was something else which made it taste “WOW”! I have found another delicious way to use my homemade pumpkin puree – pumpkin hummus. This creamy, orange-hued dip is to die for! The natural sweet flavors of the pumpkin, along with a dash of spices spike up the yum factor manifold and is bound to make its takers happy. Apart from being great taste wise, this pumpkin hummus also gives you a chance to show your own creativity.
I’ve always despised eating pumpkin regardless what form it’s in. It’s just so icky and gooey, not to mention it has a weird taste! The other day, we had some pumpkin puree and my mom was super excited to see what she could whip up with it. She decided to mix some in with yogurt and spices since practically everything goes with yogurt and viola, it was a success!

My love for peanuts has no bounds. Apart from snacking on them during my leisurely hours, I am always on a lookout for a chance to use peanuts in a variety of dishes and enjoy them in every way possible. Whether I use them in desserts or blend them in a curry, peanuts seem to add a rustic essence to the delicacy and turn every helping into decadence. But it’s the simple peanut coriander chutney which pleased my taste buds the most! Its lip-smacking… it’s refreshing… it’s full of aroma – it has all the qualities one looks for in perfect chutney!
