Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup (shelled) edamame
  • 1 cup (boiled) chickpeas or garbanzo bean
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • tsp or 1 tbsp of tahini sauce sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Blanch edamame in boiling water for five minutes
  2. Drain water
  3. Soak sesame seeds for 5 minutes and then grind into a paste
  4. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend for 30 seconds
  5. Add water depending on the consistency of the hummus
  6. Serve with chips of your choice
**Tastes best with veggie or pita chips or jicama root fries**
