Method
- Dice tomatillos, sweet onion and jalapeno pepper
- Boil tomatillos, sweet onion and jalapeno pepper in ½ cup of water until soft (about 10 minutes)
- Add cilantro leaves and salt to the boiled vegetables (save 1 tbsp cilantro leaves)
- Blend until you get salsa-like consistency
- Garnish with 1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
- Serve with Mexican cuisine and/or nacho chips
- **if you prefer a grilled flavor, then you can grill the vegetables instead of boiling them
