Ingredients
  

  • 3 cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp oil/butter
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seed powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp crushed black pepper

Method
 

  1. Whisk the yogurt
  2. Add pumpkin puree, salt, roasted cumin seed powder, red chilli powder, and crushed black pepper to the yogurt
  3. Mix well
  4. Heat the oil/butter in a small pan and add the mustard seeds to it
  5. When the mustard seeds start to pop, turn off the flame
  6. Add the oil/butter and mustard seed mixture to the yogurt and cover the container with a lid for 5 minutes to give a smoky flavor
  7. Mix and serve
