Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz package (squeezed and crumbled) extra-firm tofu
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2, chopped red onion
  • 1/2 in. piece (grated or minced) ginger root
  • 1 -2, depending on you Serrano peppers
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp - optional red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • fresh minced cilantro

Method
 

  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. Add onion, Serrano peppers, ginger, and turmeric.
  3. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add the tofu.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add salt, black salt and red powder. Mix well.
  7. Add cilantro and mix well.
  8. Serve with toasted bread or any kind of bread such as chapati/roti/paratha.
