Method
- Pour oil in the pan and heat.
- Add onion and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add green pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and tomato paste and mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add tofu and mix well.
- Add brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and oregano and mix well.
- Add water.
- Turn the burner to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add jalapeno peppers and red pepper flakes. (OPTIONAL)
- Put mustard on the hamburger buns.
- Serve tofu mix on toasted hamburger buns.
