My daughter, Sheena, loves to chomp on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. But plain bread, peanut butter, and jelly sandwiches can get a little boring for her after a while. So swap jelly with chocolate syrup and whiz it into the blender along with Greek yogurt and a blob of peanut butter to prepare a quick breakfast or snack within less than 5 minutes.
She loves peanut butter and chocolate and when they come together, it truly blows her to paradise. Yes, it’s true decadence and taste somewhat like a soft-serve ice cream. Throw in few frozen banana chunks and it will scoop out like one too. The use of Greek yogurt instead of milk boost its protein quotient yet keeps it lighter than any regular milkshakes. Yet, it’s thick, creamy with a hint of tartness owing to the Greek yogurt and ‘oh-so-satisfying’! Even the adults are bound to fall for it. But, if you are looking forward to a vegan version, use whey-free protein powder instead. However, weight-watchers beware, this drink might be sugar-free, but the peanut butter and chocolate loads it with high calories. So stick to small portions and enjoy this yummy chocolate peanut butter protein shake with your kids.
